Following Adobe’s decision to fade out their Flash player plug-in by 2020, now is the time to start using HTML5 (Hypertext Markup Language). This will enable you to create responsive animated banners, which will attract new and returning visitors to your website.

Apple’s mobile devices don’t support the Flash player plug-in. Therefore, Apple have always been keen to push HTML5 due to the strong reliability and security of the platform. This problem is eliminated when using HTML5, as the ability to add and edit coding allows you to upload animations to the web. Rather than just a Flash file that would require users to download Flash player to preview in their browser. Say goodbye to the days where you see this frustrating message: ‘Install the Flash plug-in to view this video’.

It also has the added benefit of generating responsive animations which is imperative in today’s digital world. Since the consumer funnels through their buyer’s journey on multiple devices and different sized screens.
