Getting the attention of senior-level executives at large corporations is not an easy task. They are the most influential group of individuals in an organisation and are consistently short on one thing, time.

So to capture their attention, you must provide valuable content designed for on the go consumption.

One of the best times to grab the attention of a c-suite executive is on their mobile devices. Like everyone else, they also commute into work and queue in waiting rooms or supermarkets, so why not provide valuable information to help pass the time.

Here are a few tips to get you started:

  • Create infographics to help tell a story and share your message in an easily digestible way.
  • Send regular, bite-sized emails, targeted at specific clients featuring gifs and basic animation for a more dynamic approach.
  • Video and podcasts are a great way to humanise your content whilst utilising any spare time your clients have in a light-hearted way.
  • Mobile apps allow you to send push notifications to your clients home screen (even if they are using a different app) letting them know when new content is shared.

Just because your email opens are rapidly declining doesn’t mean senior level executives aren’t waiting to be inspired by new and insightful information. Respecting their lack of time is the best way to ensure it’s your message that hits them at the right time and is effectively received.
